So how are these for images that tell a story???   

I have observed Laurie from a distance for the short time I have known her.  I have been amazed at her demeanor, attitude,  and bubbly personality.  By looking at her, you know she is enduring a challenging time in her life.  By knowing her, you see the amazing spirit of a real woman.

I loved being able to document this time in your life.  You truly are an inspiration! It was an honor and a privilege to photograph you and your husband today.

{Rosa and Jay}

Jay and Rosa drove from Arlington for their session this morning.  It was foggy, a bit misty at times - but it really added to their images. 

That first one on the bridge seems like a time machine to me.  You look at the couple, your eyes roam to the right, and it is a small glimpse of Old Town Waxahachie.

{a favorite}

OK... maybe two favorites. The first is a favorite because of the story it tells of this couple's relationship. The affection in it is so genuine. And the second one is added because I just fell in love with this property. The image included the couple, the cows, the lake and their home in the distance. To know how large this property is and to have been able to capture all of these elements in one frame seems impossible to me, but yet there it is.

Have I ever mentioned that I love what I do? It's true, I do! Tonight I went to this amazing property. It was a real jewel. I had fun just being out somewhere new and photographing this couple. I experienced a first today too. I was standing out in a field, with the cows, taking portraits.

I loved so many, it was hard to just pick two.
