{IRAQ}
When you get a call saying someone is home from Iraq, you know it is only for a short time. You miss the window and it may be months before everyone is back together again. So I met this family today to document the Burnett family together. They were all so happy.
And this one is just so special.
It's one of those cliches ... worth more than a thousand words.
7 things you might not know about me
And on to other ramblings.. I was tagged by Carolyn to list seven thing you most likely don't know about me. Since I have done this once before - I'm really digging deep.
1. Growing up my dad had desired that I would go by my middle name, Angelina. I had a nickname that everyone called me. I was 5 when I decided that should change. That was a huge year for Donnie and Marie Osmond, and I wanted to have famous name. A few people in this world still know me by my nickname, but I only answer to Marie.
2.When I was in the fourth grade, I had my first operation to have a tumor removed from my foot. Like any child, I was scared to death. My motivation for being brave - tickets to go see Olivia Newton John at Reunion Arena. That was my first concert ever. My favorite concert ever- U2, Zoo TV at Candlestick Park in San Francisco. I love that city!
3. As a family, we go out to eat EVERY night. And something no one knows- my husband just asked me how to turn on the oven so that he and Madeleine could make brownies. We have been in this house for almost 1.5 years and this is the first time he has touched the oven.
4. My favorite food is Sushi. I miss sushi. I dream about sushi. When I take an appointment for Dallas or other surrounding area, I immediately look for the closest sushi place and stop before coming back home. Someone please open a Japanese Restaurant in Waxahachie.
5. My favorite beverage of choice - Regular Coca-Cola. No diet stuff for this girl. Unchecked I could drink a 12 pack in a day easily. I can not stand plain water. If I'm exercising I drink propel or Gatorade. If it's alcoholic, it's wine- pinot grigio or pinot noir.
6. I have a name for my favorite camera lens - Harold. It's funny to hear my husband ask if he gets to use Harold during a wedding. I almost wrote an open letter to my favorite lens on my blog professing my love to him to really freak all of you out. Can you image .... a Dear Harold letter on my blog
Dear Harold, I love you more and more everyday. You are big and white and bring a clarity to my life untouched by the others... I could go on and on but you would really think that I totally lost it and need some sleep.
7. My favorite song of the moment is Soulmate my Natasha Bedingfield. I don't think they play it on the radio yet. I found it surfing through i-tunes. Kate Vogel is another artist I found on i-tunes and every time I hear her on my ipod I look down to see who is singing. It's definitely chick music - but hey consider the source.
Be Good!

I know my opinion is a biased one, but you are amazing!!! I cannot wait to see all of them, but the two pictures that are posted made me cry!!! Thank you so much for doing this for my family!
