I have been looking forward to this day for quite some time. Don't laugh when I say this.. this is the closest I have come to a destination wedding - Lake Grapevine. I'm ready to go somewhere exotic- someone hire me to go to Mexico, Hawaii, the Caribbean.
I told the Bride's Aunt Joanna that we were not in Waxahachie anymore when we saw the location. Take a peek at Jessica looking beautiful in her ivory dress.
I staged this "Girls hanging out" shot. But they really were just hanging out.
The elegant invites with a touching quote that read, "For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh." The bible verse is that famous one from Corinthians.
The ceremony has started in the image below. The girls are coming down the aisle. I look over to the groom for the photo op and one of the groomsmen catches me and gives me the "I see you... let me strike a pose" sign. Not sure you can tell on this - but it sure did make me laugh tonight.
And then just moments after becoming man and wife - the two slip away. And the gentleman that he is - he helps her hold her dress up as she walks. A tender moment forever captured.
Hector and I had a fantastic time capturing this wedding. Both families were extremely kind to us. We thank everyone involved for making sure we were taken care of.
Be Good!

Simply gorgeous. I do not know neither the bride nor the groom, but I wish I could have been there just to see their wedding.
